Julie Rollins, DNP, FNP-BC

A Sussex County native, Julie joined Cape ENT in September of 2020 and is looking forward to blending her previous experience with the specialty of otolaryngology. Julie graduated with her bachelor’s in nursing science from Salisbury University in 2009. She gained valuable experience as a registered nurse before pursuing her master’s in nursing science to become a family nurse practitioner. She then graduated from Wilmington University in 2012 and began her nurse practitioner career specializing in allergy, asthma and immunology. Julie later returned to Wilmington University to complete her doctorate in nursing science in May 2020, developing a process improvement project entitled, “Development and Evaluation of a Nurse Practitioner –Directed Asthma Control Test Protocol in a Rural Allergy and Asthma Clinic.”

Julie is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau (a nursing honor society). Outside of Cape ENT, Julie spends time with her husband and two boys enjoying the outdoor lifestyle Sussex County, DE has to offer. She is also an assistant adjunct professor in Wilmington University’s nurse practitioner program.
